THE SPLIT SECOND FOUNDATION
Dependence Day 2019 presented by **Title Sponsor** Will be Saturday, June 29, 2019 at the contemporary art center. This event will feature live entertainment, a VIP lounge, authentic New Orleans restaurants, open bars and a silent auction. Our?m w goal is to sell 2000 tickets at $100 a piece and 200 for VIP tickets at $200 a piece, raising $240,000 for SSF initiatives.
12 “Dine-in Nite” experiences. The “Dine-in Nite” are easy inexpensive fundraisers meant to incentivize participation from Restaurants by providing additional business for them on slow days in exchange for %15 of their net profit for the evening. In 2018, we were able to raise $1400 from 2 of these fundraisers.
The Split Second Golf Classic presented by **Title Sponsor** Will be Friday, April 19, 2019 beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Audubon golf course. Our target Is to have 30 teams, four people per team, cost of $500.00 per team.
The 2019 Allstate Sugarbowl Crescent City Classic is Saturday, April 20, 2019. SSF is honored to be a charitable organization accepted into the 2019 “Run For It” Program. Nonprofits have the option to buy 100, 75, 50 or 25 bibs at a discounted rate of $40 per a bib from the Crescent City Classic. Participants who choose to run for charity will pay an initial discounted registration fee of $40 and agree to raise a minimum of $200 for their charity. If participants raise $250, their credit card will be reimbursed the $40 registration fee. 2018’s highest charity fundraiser was Brian Sands for Covenant House – Sands raised $15,681 in 2018. Participating charities must also provide 20 volunteers on race day. All money raised through charity registrations will go directly to the nonprofits.
