Music Therapy Groups
Led by a Music Therapist (MT) and MT students from Loyola University New Orleans, our group sessions provide a supportive environment where individuals with disabilities can explore the therapeutic benefits of music. From singing and playing instruments to rhythmic movement and creative expression, the sessions promote healing, relaxation, and joy.
🎵 Music Therapy will resume in July! Contact mary@splitsecondfoundation.org for more details.
Virtual Mindfulness
Our Virtual Guided Mindfulness Group is our newest initiative designed to support caregivers and individuals with disabilities. Cultivating mindfulness can be a powerful tool for mental wellness and physical health through reducing stress, enhancing well-being, and fostering resilience.
Our guided meditation includes breathwork, guided imagery, and an inclusive body scan. Our virtual sessions offer a welcoming space where participants can learn and practice mindfulness techniques tailored to their unique needs.
